OBX cat back exhaust

Hello,
Found tons of info on OBX exhaust being a knock off and the pros and cons of this but has anyone actually bought one and run it on their car? Curious how it worked out. Thanks

Hi,

I have the system and installed it myself about two weeks ago. I had a little bit of problems installing it at first but managed to do it properly. I love the sound the quality looks good and the sound is good, no droning and quiet under 3500 rpm. Above 3500 rpm the thing sounds mean and awesome.

Check my post about the OBX exhaust with videos.

Thanks much. I am considering buying one. The price certainly seems right.

I have it on my car as well as the header and it was a lil pain to put it in, but quality is good.

Thanks for the input. Any problems with exhaust leaks? Seems most headers I have ever had were a maint. problem with gaskets and such.

Buying it and the header in January...looking forward to it.
I have used OBX/r stuff on my Eclipse... welds were good.

I had the OBX catback exhaust on my Mini. It was a perfect fit and no issues.

Thanks for the input. What do you want for it? I would assume it sounds more like a Works car than some of the Japanese cars running around with after market exhaust. They just sound annoying to me!!

I have no experience with the Miltek so I can't comment on it. I do have an OBX exhaust with an AMK header retrofitted with a highflow cat. I had to install a Magnaflow 4" round muffler because it was too loud. OBX with
cat-less header is way too loud.

The OBX is basically a Supersprint exhaust. I can assure you it's one of the louder if not the loudest exhaust on the market right now.
