connectors attached to seat after unplugged

Hey guys

I have removed my passenger seat in my r52 in hopes of getting to the H/K amp.

I have already removed all the connectors from their recepticles, but I currently have two connectors that are still stuck to the seat. By this i mean they have some sort of clip/plastic zip-tie contraption which I cant seem to get off.

Any advice for this?

Thanks

Stupid question - isn't the HK amp behind the side panel in the boot/trunk of the car?

Are you talking about the connectors for the Seatbelt pre-tensioner and the airbag (2 small plugs beside each other in the front centre of the seat)? Once you unplug these you don't need to remove the remaining plugs as they come out attached to the seat.

Sorry if I have misunderstood your problem - hard to give advise with no pics. Have taken the seats out of my R53 a few times though & did't have any problems as it's very straight forward.

Ahh

my bad for not posting any pictures. I just took some and here they are

As you can see only 2 of my 4 plugs have these weird clamps on them.

BTW i have a cabrio so the amp is under the pass seat, as I am told and can see so far. Also there is no space in the rear for the amp as the converible machinery is back there lol

BTW can anyone tell me what the plugs are for?

I know that two are supposed to be for the seatbelt and one is for the airbag, is the other for the heated seats?

Be forewarned... if you disconnect the yellow connector (the airbag in the seat) and you turn on the ignition, you will set an airbag code that cannot be reset without a scan tool with the air bag extra module, not just a plain scan tool. Airbag and ABS capabilities do not come with most standard scan tools. The airbag red light on your instrument panel will come on and stay on, so be careful.

Ah I see..
simplier than I though. I thought these were not just one time use things.

Since they are "loose" to the thing connected to the chair, I can always fit new ones on.

Thanks!
