MINI Cooper S babe magnet poll

When my MCS was on order in 2002, I was dating a lady who was also being dated by some rich, movie producer mogul guy. He took her to famous places in la la land like Spagos, while I took her to Bristol farms or the Kettle in mahattan beach, CA or to Trader Joe's. I've got no chance, right? BUT Mr. Mogul drove her around in a 1987 Caddy! Mind you, not an arguably cool 1950s elvis one, but a dorkmobile 80s one, like this

https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/g/picture/3717153

I told her I had an S on order, but that's a check's in the mail story. But I did have a little model of one and proposed that the MCS is such a great car that a mere model of one is more of a babe magnet than a real 1987 caddy.

Here's the model

https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/g/picture/3717152

As part of my research, I showed pictures of a real MCS, a picture of the Caddy, and my little model to the certifiable babes at work (hey, no feminists on the warpath here, this was all in fun...) and asked them which was more of a babe magnet, the model or the real Caddy? Everybody had such a good laugh, I'm up for posting a poll.

Here are the current results answering the question "Is the Mini Cooper S model more of a babe magnet than a real 1987 Cadillac?" [updated 10-28-2018 for Annie's vote]

maybe..................1
no........................4
yes.....................22 1/2
don't know.............1
doesn't matter.......1 1/2
neither one............2

babes only, vote now!

Uh... (in a deep voice)... yes... uh ahmmm... (in a 'lite' voice) I mean yes...(squints, looks left and right, scratches stubble, flings long blond hair over shoulder then trips trying to be inconspicuous with the high heels)...

Did you guys, get it? It's not exactly like real life due to the fact that THERE IS NO SOUND! Whatever.

Yeah I'm going to go with the model MCS... But then, I may be biased: I AM a babe and I drive an MCS

one of the funniest answers i've gotten so far is

"depends on how old she is. under 11 and over 80 definitely will go for the model."

I would rather push myself around on that rideable toddler size MINI toy than be seen driving some old Caddy like that!

The guy with the caddy knows how to play the game.

Kudos to CADDYMAN!

He said he's a mogul.... and drives a caddy.... she fell for it, she told you .... sounds like she's queen bee and you are being ordered by pheramone to work harder for her affections...

WOOF WOOF!

Hmmm ....

I had a "babe-magnet",
You would NOT like what it attracted.

Nothing beats a smile and a joke ....
um, oh yeah, fresh breath helps too.

lol

One of the greatest babe magnets in the world is a tricked out JEEP WRANGLER

I've Owned 2 in my life....

The RED/TAN Square Eyed Wrangler with Mickeys and a $4000 System
I think it was one of the LOUDEST/Clearest JEEP Systems around...
I miss it all. Great California Car..

Anyhow... babes, by derogatory standards, Oh My GOD types, always asked for a ride....
It was a good tool! and And AND... I did not have to talk much and neither did she.... just crank the volume... and hot girls love Bass It thumped their funny bones - If you know what I mean

0aybe they saw and envied all the babes.... and now they are surrounded by them!
Leaving you in a not so babe magnet MCS

I have to say, not until the MCS racks in big IMPORT Scores or Dupont #'s it will not be a true babe magnet like , let's say... Ryan's Jacked Bike was/Still is! HAHAHHAHA

I remember seeing, when I was a kid, all the crotch rocket babes shaking what their momma's gave them, for a group of guys on bikes... just to be picked to hop on back of one... good stuff...

Then a few days later I saw a couple screaming in pain on 145 degree Arizona Asphalt, splayed out after a spill. Her screams were nausiating... I hope no one ever hears such terror, pain and fear EVER. So that ended my bike owning fantasy.

I think Bikes are great and beautiful

I don't think other people consider them while driving.
The accident I referenced above happened not due to driver error, but to another driver who did not consider or even pay attention to the bike.

California is not a safe place for even the safest motorcyclists.... be careful dooooood

doug ure absoluelty right..its hardly ever the fault of the riders..usually its the cages that dont see us

i rode in norther cali all last year..we would ride the berkeley hills and napa valley by lake berryessa

at that time i had my 98 blue gixxer 750

i traded up and got the yellow one..it was spanking new

41 miles, ,and got stolen from berkeley

as good as this university is here..i wish i went to stanford..its not worth living here..

oh well..let me get back down..and get a few bikes..and some nicer cars...

hehe
