What would you pay for a 2005 Cooper S with Works engine/exhaust?

Are you the buyer or the seller? I'd want to know why a car spec'ed for some serious driving only has 8k miles on it. The options installed and any mods also have serious impact on the value of the car.

Shouldn't be too unusual - when I purchased my '06 MCS, also with lots of JCW bits (motor, suspension and exhaust), it only had 4000 miles after 13 months. Some people buy the Cooper as a second or third car.

As to the original question, I would imagine that it's worth $25K +- 2K in the current market, which is hot for Minis right now.

Hopefully buying... the car has no mods except factory JCW engine and exhaust. I'm not sure why the car has so few miles, but I think the guy has $$ and has a few cars. I'll find out more tomorrow.

Options: 17" rims, sunroof, Hella fogs, not sure what else

My car is a early 06 and I only have like 7k miles or so on her, always garaged, seen rain a couple times, never snow, etc

I use the car for shows though so I keep it in top conditions year round!

Saw the car today and have to make a decision. I'm pretty sure I'm going to take it. It was BEAUTIFUL! If the odometer said 800 miles I would have believed it.

I guess that kind of value is possible, but IMO a lot of it's value is in the fact that it has extremely low miles. If you are going to maintain that attribute, it's worth it. The more miles you put on it, the less that premium is worth in terms of value to the next buyer. If that doesn't matter to you, then nevermind. If I was going to spend that much for an '85, I would rather have one with normal miles and $8,000 worth of extra goodies.....but that's me.

We bought our MINI with 11.5K on the odometer, and it was a year old... 8K isn't anything to get riled up over.
