Running that tire wheel combo isn't your speedo off? Per every tire calculator I've seen it needs to be 215/40/18 to match the Mini specs.

No they did the calculation for me at the dealership and said it would be find, could have went with a 225 but, I thought that would be too big.. So we tried them on at the wheel shop. Would have fit in the rear not so well in the front.

The reason why the other posted mentioned that your Mini is a 2nd generation model is because this is a first generation (R50 & R53) forum.

I'm not really a big fan of chrome, however, I do like the chrome combo on Mini Vette's Mini. I think the chrome trim (i.e. mirrors, door handle, headlight ring, etc) tie in the entire chrome package well.

I talked to the manager at the tire shop where I purchase the wheels. I told him that the tires we ordered was the wrong size and showed him the website that they should think about. Thanks to e92miami. They are going to change them out for the 40 series for no addition cost and no problems for doing it.. I was really surprised, I was ready to chew somebody azz, but it was not necessary. Still a GOOD DAY!
