03 MCS clutch pedal adjustable?

I searched and didn't find anything on this forum...

Is the clutch engage point adjustable for the 03 Mini S?
Right now the cluch will engage (or disengage) almost right above the floor...

Is that normal? Is where the clutch engage adjustable?

Thanks,

The clutch system is hydraulic and non-adjustable.

What you are noticing may be (not is) one of the signs of a failing slave cylinder. Depending on the mileage of you car you may want to have that checked out.

That is a good place to have your clutch engage for performance driving.

So your clutch engages at the same spot (pretty much right above the
floor)?...

From the people I talk to they usually want the engagement point as high as possible. The reason being is the less throw of the pedal, the quicker they can change gears.

When I had a Spec 3+ put in my car the throw changed from about 1/2 the throw to about 1/4 the throw. Worked rather well this past weekend at the track.
