Rear Sunroof

Do all mini's have the capability for the rear sunroof to be activated on an angle setting? I have attempted to attach an image for everyone's review, but I'm not sure if I did this correctly.

The only thing I can think it would be useful for is for after taking the kids to Taco Bell.

The R56's do that, then the rear sunroof tilts closed then the front sunroof slides back.

One more thing to break, but it sure looks cool. Adds downforce too!

Yeah its a nice little feature but I cant tell that it does much for air circulation inside but still looks cool!

I dunno if any one else has encountered this problem, but there is an aweful noise from the sun roof starting at about 115mph. The dealer said he could fix it until he heard what speed it started at. The noise quiets down a bit after 130mph. We just "crack" it a little bit, and at least you don't the high pitched noise. By the way, we are driving at these speeds (and higher) legally on public highways. Check out www.openroadracing.com. We would love having more MINI's come .

I just wish the rear side windows opened up like on the classic Mini. It sure would help keep the cabin from being like a wind vortex generator when motoring along.

That would be cool. I know there were aftermarket options like that for the old A1 and A2 VW Golfs... Only problem is that extreme curve to the Mini's rear side glass.

Awesome ! What a great idea but It would never fly on the east coast. This is the land of motorcycle helmets, mandatory seatbelts, and the land of red tape and lawyers.

Just another reason why when it comes to cars, the Pacific North West and West Coast Rocks !

Yeah, because having your brains splattered across the asphalt is so much cooler than some stupid helmet
Same with those idiot racing drivers wearing the harnesses, what are they thinking. It's so much better to have an ability to jump out of the car during a crash or flying through the windshield if you desire to, righ?
You don't dare to put your kids into child seats either, do you? Those are so evil too, you know.

For us who have R53/R50, just drive with the hatch opened. It has bigger down force and even better circulation
