My front MINI badge has gone missing!! :(

wtf, I just noticed tonight that the black center of my front MINI badge is gone. I don't know if someone stole it or if it just fell off.

Anyone know where I can pick up a replacement other than the stealership?

thanks in advance.

We have never found one as an 'after-market' item but can be found at full service shops like www.Minimania.com , drop Ken@Minimania.com to confirm price and availability.

Probably didn't fall off. Look for paint blemishes to indicate where someone wedged a key or other tool under it to pry it off. Classic MINI in Mentor Ohio gives a 20% discount to NAM members if you order one from them. I bought one a while back and I think it was about $20-25

Still makes me angry when other mini owners accessorize or replace with stolen parts. Someone took one of my valve caps and my passenger side mirror. Of course, maybe I'm being paranoid.

I'm pretty sure whoever took it was not using it for their mini. I remember vw logos being hot when I was a youth.

Are these becoming a hot item?

The EXACT same thing happened to me. However I did not know that the black part was a seperate piece. I thought it was painted. I assumed someone scrathed off the paint from my rear mini badge but obviously they pried off the black part. You can see the scratch marks on the emblem.

Losers....

there seems to be a problem with peoples falling off in freezing temps. apparently it cracks, and pops off. Doesnt really matter what happened to it though...you need a replacement regardless. but maybe the thought will help u sleep a little better.

Were you saying "Boo" or "Boo-urns"?

Always nice to see another Simpsons fan.

most definitely boo-urns.

"No sir, they're saying boo-urns, boo-urns!"

Mine popped off too, and I don't think vandalism was involved...the black portion just delaminated. It happened to both badges, but they (the entire badge) were replaced under warranty, so I'm not sure of the cost.

This just popped up on eBay:
Front emblem

It's used but it looks good and it's much cheaper than new.
