Any recommendations?

I need to replace both powersteering lines on my 2002 Cooper S and the valve cover gasket as they are all leaking. Besides the dealer, any one have any suggestions? I am not looking for someone to do the work - I am wondering if anyone buys their parts at places other than the dealer.

Have you thought of having the lines remade? they replace the rubber hose and the crimps that hold the lines on. I had a set done and it worked out really well. Fasntenal has the service to do the job I think the Napa shops also have this service

I haven't used this site yet but will when necessary

http://www.realoem.com/bmw/partgrp.d...45&hg=51&fg=30

I use one that is similar for GM parts for my truck with great success and over 50% off on the same part from what the dealer charges.

i live in the levittown area and i buy most of mine off ebay store Joetlc or something like that for awesome prices. i got the brake pad sensors for 9 bucks shipped and calipers, rotors, and pads for upfront 75 shipped. other than that i've tried parts warehouses and things but the discounts aren't that great.
