MINI Cooper Front End - The AUDI mod

I was just looking for pics of minis on google and I stumbled across this.
What do you guys think?

I think it looks really cool far away but as you get closer... the bumper just looks weird.

I think that's the same front end Mach Schnell (forum member) has on his MINI.

I honestly don't know what to think. I'm thinking its a little overkill but am still undecided. Its almost like a bad accident. Its shocking and you wanna look away but you can't.

AC Shnitzer body kit. The 2-tone part I am not sure about.

I didn't like the "Shield grill" as Audi calls it when it came out, and I still haven't come to grips with it, I hope it goes away soon so I can replace my '04 (pre-shield grill) with a new Audi someday.........so my vote is "not so much"

IMO it doesn't look too hot on an Audi & it sure as heck doesn't look any better on a MINI.

FWIW, the AC Schnitzer body kit has been out for a long time, while I've never liked it (at all), it's not worth whining about too much. Their new R56 kit looks pretty cool.

My wife walked in as I was viewing that and said it looks like it's got braces.

I, unfortunately, agree. I love Audis, but dislike the current Audi grille... even on a Mini. Sorry...

I just have to say it... sorry...

That is the hotness!!

I love it! It is a radical departure from MINI's basic design principles (at least on the front fascia). But, the way I see it: MINIs are different. This makes it stand out. It is a new and refreshing interpretation of MINI--yeah, it's borrowed from Audi, but most things these days are derived from some archetype.

Let me get my Nomex on before y'all start...
