The new IJ has definitely some good MINI chase scenes and even some fast classic mini scenes- great stuff.

 

great video clip of the mini stunt driving...anyone tried the 2 wheel mini on it;s side stunt yet, laugh !

Bullet with Steve McQueen in the mustang chasing the charger is still the best car chase scene IMO, although French Connection is right up there...cheers !

 

Bullet is one of my favorites.

 

Gotta love Ronin as well with the Audi...and The Transporter has a decent scene.

 

Handsome Rob did some good driving in his BMW in the Transporter.

Two wheel driving I wounder how hard it is to find the balance point. Anyone willing to loan their MIN so we can find out?

dandp & rfibanez, I agree. The Transporter has my personal favorite car chase scenes. The cinematography is great because most of it is filmed with the camera mounted on a separate car (more realistic visually), good location, good cuts, and the right background music.

I believe the guy who "choreographed" the chase scene is the same guy that did Ronin.

Throw all that together with a very rare BMW 7-series MANUAL V12

 

I had to do some net searching to pinpoint the The Transporter's car...very interesting. I may just have to buy that flick on DVD for the car chase...and his co-star, Shu Qi ain't hard to take either
