In slow moving traffic, do you position your MINI so that you can admire it in the reflection on the car in front of you?

This sure makes rush hour traffic fun!

Yeah, I've noticed that the back of the new Suburbans is curved in such a way that it makes the car look real low and wide, like its on steroids!

I would like to do that, but the guy driving in the reflection scares the hell out of me...

The best is when you pull behind or alongside a shiny tanker truck, or better yet a PT Cruiser.

That's so funny...I was just thinking about posting the same thread last week.
I get frustrated when I'm behind a dirty car...I can't see my MINI's reflection!!
We're so vain. ;O)

Guilty here too. And the MINI looks rather amusing in some of the 'funhouse mirror' reflections on other vehicles or wavy building windows.

Oh man, I am so glad that I am not the only one. The best for me yet was being behind one of those shiny gas trucks. That was really cool to look at.

Yes I do. Before I moved from Alexandria I was going home after work and I was stuck in traffic. It sucked badly except that there was a big shiny tractor trailer next to me the whole time....I got to watch myself drive. It was fun.

Those polished tankers make for some interesting effects. Like the wormhole effect of the reflection on the back end or the way your car looks to people with wall-eye vision.

Yea, I find the back of pickup trucks works great and Ford F150 with chrome bumbers are the best,.

I have found myself turning on the parking lights just to see how that reflections looks.

it's the only attribute of an SUV/mini-van/van that is practical for me!

I'm partial to the side reflection myself. I especially like to watch the revolution of the wheels when moving very slowly.

Yeah, I especially like it when I'm caught off-guard, like when I didn't realize the there was a big shiny window right in front of the only open parking spot, and I catch my reflection as I pull into the spot. "Look at that pretty MINI there!"

I'm just now reading MCO - been busy for a few days - and this thread is really funny! I can't wait to get my MCS so I can watch myself drive by buildings!!!
