Now I have to wait for the Production Date and number to keep up with it. Dealer said it should be ready by September. Of course I'm hoping sooner

Decided to order B/B, Pckg #1, fog lights, Xenons, HK sound, black leatherette and anthracite. (That's right, I'm going stealth). Already trying to decide on the windows tint I need. (Opinions appreciated).

BTW, since part of the experience of owning one of these black beauties is keeping her shined up, any recommendations for the BEST WAX...e.g. Zaino, Griots, etc??

Also, something I've noticed... pickes up a lot of sand, dust, etc, on the boot, back light, and top of bumper..... so, be careful with the CA Duster....

 

Has anyone gotten the Cosmos Black I think they call it. It supposed to be a metallic black. I think it only available on the MINI Cooper not MCS.

Any complaints with JB/JB? I have an IB/W on order and am considering, if possible, a switch to JB/JB, although my status is "On Order" and my prod date is 10/3. I am basically fearful of the swarm of Italian Job rip-offs and don't want my car to resemble one of those if they're going to be everywhere. Plus I like the way the black roof hides the sunroof--neat effect.

-Given the already weak AC, does JB/JB have a large impact on the ability of the AC to cool the car?
-How does the paint hold up? Does is show flaws easily?
-Would you get JB/JB again?

I love my black/white n stripe/lapis all 3 pkgs mcs.
I wish I had time to waxr.
Unfortunately my car will spend most of its life dirty.

 

blk/blk cars look great for shows
or if garaged

for people who leave thier cars outside, or cant wash them religously, diff color is prob best choice

sure the black looks great in dealer lots, but when u cant wash it and it gets scratched up, poor mini wont look so nice

so choose wisely :smile:

 

you will want to fondle and bathe your JB/JB as often as possible, so don't worry about the upkeep! it is just the sexiest and FASTEST color available!

however my car is garaged under cover, and it barely gets driven, so it would be great

but after about 3 years of ownership and both cars being parked otuside

a PW would look way sexier than a JB..because a JB not cared for would have lots of scratches and marks

than again, its just my opinion
