No Tow Hook?

I have an '05 MCS and it didn't come with a tow hook. I figured it would be in the jack kit that came with the car (in a little black pouch on the floor in the boot), but nothing. Anyone else notice this? Did the dealer forget to give me this?

Mine is strapped behind the driver side panel in the boot. Have you checked there?

That's for MCs (which don't have the boot-mounted battery), not MCSes.

mine (being a MCS) is indeed in the little black foam box stuffed next to the battery...
it is SNUG, and therefore, uhm, *challenging* to convince it to come out...

I never thought trying to find my tow hook would be so much fun!

Weird, 'cause I have a MCS and I don't have a styrofoam pack tucked next to the battery, just the little case strapped in the upper compartment. Maybe it's an '04 thing.

for the longest time i didnt think my car came with a tow hook. looked in the black styrofoam tucked next to the battery but there was an empty slot.
so i then asked imagox to buy me one and cover it with the rubberized red paint.
later realizing a couple weeks later that it was in my jack kit...
oh well i now have two.

If you have it, it will be located in a small vinyl pouch that is stuffed behind a small access door on the drivers side wall panel in the boot. You should also find in that pouch the tool for manually closing your sunroof (if you have one) in the event of a sunroof failure.

The tow hook in the foam box tucked by the battery is in the boot of the Cabrio.
