2006 models still out there???

I was just checking my dealer's online inventory and they seem to have about 15 2006 models. About half and half Cooper and Cooper S. Not sure how up to date the list is but if I had the funds, I would love to pick one up.

Anybody out there who just made a deal on a 2006 (for lack of a better word) leftover?

I got my '06 MCS 6 mo ago... It was the FIRST MiniNEXT (CPO) from Morristown Mini...
it had a whole 8200 mi, so not new, but just broken in

They had no new '06s on the lot... and neither did Prestige (also in NJ)

I got a 06 MCS in Charleston SC in May- I think they are out now- I did get a deal on it as well- not a huge deal but not sticker either.

The last I checked a dealer in NC(Flow) still had a new 06 JCW.

...correction, make that two new 06's, a MC (with aero kit, full on Italian Job look) and the JCW

Tampa and Jacksonville Florida have some. I picked up an 06 beginning of July..great deal...saved thousands off MSRP. And I love it!

I picked mine up in April just as the lots were filling up with the R56. I made what I thought was a great deal. Same configuration as the R56 I had on order, but for $2K less.

dean.

That's that dealer I was talking about. I guess their online inventory is hopelessly out of date.

Definitely don't trust the online inventories. They can be hopelessly off!

I just got my '06 about 3 weeks ago. I think I got a great deal and I love the car. I saved 2-3 thousand over an '07 with the same specs. I drive a lot of miles to work every day so I figure buying an '06 this late in '07 will help me some with mileage when I am ready to trade.

I'm picking up a 2006 MCS executive car with 3300 miles on Monday. I'm considering it a leftover to my friends, though. It still looks and smells brand new.
