Like I said, he's a self important tool.. did anyone else catch how many reviews he did, or the fact that he rented a MINI for the only reason of writing a review? If you read his replies to the comments, it's very apparent that he does not even like the smaller class of cars...Sorry, i'm not going to rent an Esclade and review it for A: no money, and B: because i have no intrest in driving an SUV in the first place...

I can only guess how many times he was beat up in school...

I think his problem of not being able to have sex in a MINI stems from his inability to lure women to him.

i love how this guy tries to compare a cooper s to a cadillac sts... what an idiot. i think if the car had a higher price tag this guy would love it.

 

Note that this review is about a year old. I read this last year while killing time awaiting my car. I was also at the time reading some of the "reviews" on cars.com . It was around about the time I got to "mattjoe" that I decided that trying to get a valid opinion on the Internet about something like a car was pretty much impossible. Face it, the 'net is an un-juried, un-edited forum. The opportunity to call the writer a cretin (and in this case, I agree) does nothing to validate OR devalue the opinion. It's all one mostly-anonymous opinion versus another. Put another way, on the Internet no one knows if you are a cretin...or not.

 

Yeah, this is the same guy who thinks he has some sort of "uber-status" because some guy from his dorm in College that he never talked to plays for a pro football team.

Less MINI's on the road is a good thing, as far as I'm concerned.

Welcome to the internet folks - where anyone can and WILL write anything they want. I used to read epinions reviews now and then, but unfortunately, I found WAY too many of them like this. He's what you call a self professed 'expert'

I totally agree.
The writer needs to study more before posting such comments.
It's a common knowledge that Mini's engine is not made by BMW and we can find it very easily in any of articles posted or issued already.
Actually I'm not sad, but I feel some kind of malice.

However, the fact says that we love MINI and we enjoy motoring very much.
MINI is MINI. Nothing to compare to any other vehicles.

 

This reminds me of the guy who reviews some 500 books on Amazon.com and just 'happened' to mention that he was an author, and had his own books for sale on Amazon.com somehow in every one...

And for his pic, i still say "It's a man, baby!"
