   Sweet! I am picturing it with Lapis blue interior and Blue Bonnet stripes....

Now what I want to know - is what colors for the Cabrio??? I know it's too early but those of us who are interested, want the scoop hot off the press

Chow!

Good luck getting Lapis Blue with Pepper White. MINI won't even let you get Lapis Blue with BRG (or chili red or liquid yellow for that matter).

Why MINI restricts Lapis Blue is beyond me.

Anthony: any word on whether or not there will be a Cordoba Beige Interior on the S (i.e. Cordoba Sport Seats)? I seem to recall a picture a while back showing a 1 off Cordoba Beige interior in an S a while back from MINI.

8 stinking months, that's all I would have had to wait to get my beloved Pepper White in an S Model . I think I am going to jump off the highest object I can find.

(.....looks around and finds a 3 foot step stool....) Damn, cursed again!

Oh well, guess when Mini #2 comes into my garage in a few years that we will have some more choices in colors.

Thanks for the Info Antsmini. Anyword on a burnt orange coming into the line up in the next few years?

gotta agree with Nobull60...

I've seen enough Electric Blue's and DarkSilver's to last a lifetime.

hopefully half of the new S's sold will be Pepper white.

Well.. I dont know about rarest.. as they cancelled Silk Green long before Velvet Red.! But, then again, I see more Silk Green's than I do Velvet Reds! Makes me wonder why they cancelled silk green so long before Velvet Red. What a shame too! Velvet Red was my other favorite and I was tortured over which one to get! Oh well!

Last I heard the Cabrio will come with a interior body color trim option and dark grey will be available on the Cooper Cabrio as well as the MCS Cabrio.

Also it would appear that sky blue has been nixed at this point.

What about Orange Metallic? Is a shame to see Velvet Red being discountinued but I think BMW did not do the color right (Too dark and tends to look brown under certain light). A true Candy Apple Red or Burgundy Metallic with more depth would have been the real ticket.

Having said all this, if the VR had ever been offered in the MCS I would have switched my order from CR to VR.

Why they don't axe that ugly Gold Metallic? I have yet to see a new Gold MINI in the streets. I can't believe that Silk Green and now Velvet Red have been axed to keep the unpopular Gold metallic.

Who is in charge of issuing color combinations at BMW/MINI??????

I am so sorry but the solid Dark Silver or CLAY GRAY in the Audi TT is hideous!!!

I think overall that VW/Audi has much better colors than BMW/MINI.

Is this the same Lori at Westchester? If so, I'll be seeing her tonight for a test drive!

Antsmini,

Any rare color additions for the MC line?
It seems odd MINI would take away an exclusive color of the MC line, but not offer another one in return. ...actually, the MC loses two exclusive colors if the VR leaves...

When would pricing be made available on the MINI Open, either MC or MCS?

Also, when do you suppose interior option choices will be made available for the MCS Pepper White?
I guess I don't know them now.

Is it possible to order the MC in PW/Beige currently?

Thanks ahead for any good data, antsmini.

I dont know if the VR will be replaced or not, I simply know its been nixed.

Orders for 2004 will begin in Sept for an Oct delivery date.

Hope this helps.

Oh and the reason gold is still around is because MINI has to get rid of all that old BMW paint.

i am happy it stayed a S color only. i can see offering all the colors in the S and only a few in the other. but i'm sure i'll take slack for saying that..lol hey there all coopers. some are just faster than others.

i also really liked the silk green and Velvet red colors. if i could have gotten them in the S it would have been a hard choice in colors for me. too bad they are going away.
