Build Advice
My MCS has a build date of 09/03. It was sold as a 2004. My question is, if I purchase an exhaust system should it be for an 02/03 build or a 04+ Build. I was told the breakoff point was somewhere in 03.

04' You have a 2004 Model Year, which means you have the 04' Model Year changes. There are somethings that change mid-year, but then it would say a build date of 02/2003 saying, anything built after Feburary 2003.

I have a 10/03 built 04 Cooper S and I bought an exhaust for 04...
WRONG... I had the old 03 hangers so my friend and I got out the torch and modified them. Best bet... check with someone local that has an 02 or 03 and see if your hangers are the same...

Just buy the ALTA then it wont matter which it is.
