I got mine yesterday and found lots of new items. One problem though is the Feakin prices!!! Did anyone see how much for the carbon fiber parts?? Are they kidding me!!! And the new chrome bezels for the columns, and the A/C ***** look great but again the costs are unreal. Its nice to see more products out there but to rape me while I am looking at the cataloge should be against the law !!!!

Yes I noticed the prices were high. I don't have it in front of me now but it was something like $60+ for the K&N filter I paid $36 for. ! EEK!

That just makes me think I can find the rest of the stuff alot cheaper if I wanted to.

Simon.

Minimania is extremely overpriced IMO. I have the new '03 Summer catalog in front of me and I am particuraly interested in the new "MINI ECU Upgrade" shown on page 3 for $399.95.

Any toughts on this mod?

As long as MINI owners will pay for overpriced products, the venders will continue with the high prices. Hold out for a while.

MM has a price match poicy on their classic parts, they should on the MINI too. At times you can get the same stuff shipped from UK for less! Driving lights were only $200 from MiniSpares which is the same freak'n supplier! Go online & shop Mini Spares & Mini Sport (also DJ Minis in Ocala) for prices. Get a subscription to Mini World (I just bought one at Barnes & Nobles) or MINI magazines. There's lots of suppliers, you're not at their mercy for prices.

I saw a chrome bonnet scoop that looked cool, not for my car though.

I was shocked at the prices... and started to think that the coppers Works package was a better way to go. Did you see the pulley upgrade...only 199. but if you want to buy the pulley puller to make the job oh so easy...fork over 350. come on when does a puller cost that much... My 350 Chevy parts never were this expensive. Are these prices for real? Will it cost 2 arms and 3 legs to customize a MCS?

I think one of the sponsers here is renting the puller.
