Hey,
I was just wondering how many of you people have already seen the IJ. I saw it yesterday, at a movie theater where there was about 70 or so MINI's.

I've seen it twice now...Once at the Paramount Drive-In premier and again last night at the Irvine MINI Sneak Peak.

I have definitely seen at least ten threads ABOUT the Italian Job (not counting the viewing get-togethers in the regional forums).

My wife and I saw it last night (courtesy of MINI of Towson, MD, thank you!). We thought is was fun, pretty clever and definitely heart pounding in a few spots. I don't think it's worth seeing a second time, personally, but then, we don't go to the movies all that much to begin with.

Actually, I would like to see it again sometime since I turned my gaze away just as Charlize Theron was sliding the classic MINI into the tight parking spot.

Saw it last nite courtesy of Cincinnati Mini...love it but like the classic version with Michael Cain even better. Of course they should have used a Yellow Mini too!

LOL

Saw it at the Paramount gig, then last nite at Long Beach MINI's showing, ( I won a Stuffed MINI ! ) and tomorrow our cars are the stars at the Del Mar showing that Alex down here has arranged. Loved the movie! This a much better experience this time around owning a MINI in the States, than the original TIG go-round. If you want to see how well the new version is being received - go to http://www.rottentomatoes.com and check out the all reviews.

BCNU,
Rob in Dago

Since it was Friday today I took the whole office to see it this afternoon. How many of you noticed; of the three Mini's in the movie, the white and blue were straight Mini's and only the red one was an 'S"?

We had the Hawaii premiere last night with about 215 people in attendance. Great time and great fun show. We cheered loudly when the minis came on. Had a lot of giveaways for trivia and posters at the end of the show. Had popcorm and candy, drinks and hotdogs courtesy of Mini of Hawaii-
Lovely time. Now I have to go watch the original IJ that I have on VHS tape at home.

I was at the sneak-peek sponsored by Lauderdale MINI, this past Thursday. We were lucky enough to have one of the stunt driver/doubles in attendance!! Probably over 100 MINIs...it was sweet.

Thanks, Lauderdale MINI!
