Hello All,
I'm new to the site and was wondering if any one knows of anybody who might have the 17in. S-Lite rims in chrome on their Mini, and if they have pics

Go to Gallery, on the left, under Features,... I"m sure you'll find them.
So many fancy wheels on the Mini's in Wisconsin, I'm gonna be totally unique with "Holeys"!!!!

I don't have pictures, but have seen one on the showroom floor at my dealers. They are a must have if you're going to stick with the S-lite wheels. Not very traditional, but they looked really good in chrome. Really good. My dealer charges $1,200 bucks for the option of chrome.

Best regards,

Jason

What color of Mini were they on mate, and if you run across any pictures could you please post. I want to make absolute certainty they'll good on a dark silver with white top.

Owen#10,

I didn't get any pictures, but it was on a Pure Silver S. My dealer is MINI of North Scottsdale in Arizona, USA, but I don't think their site is up. The BMW site is http://www.bmwnorthscottsdale.com. Wished I had more for you. All I can say is that chrome with a dark gray is very correct from a design standpoint. I haven't seen any minilites in the gallery with chrome. Sorry.

Happy motoring,

J.

Of course, I'm a chrome freak. I have a solid Pure Silver MINI Cooper (body color roof) coming by the end of the month and I'm getting the little 15-inch Holeys, which I may chrome. The chrome will look really sharp with the Dark Silver, IMO!

Well, sorry I am a bit behind on posting. I had my Cooper S 17" wheels chromed.

I think they look fantastic because of the other chrome accents on the exterior of the car.

However, be forewarned, the chromed 17" wheels create an optical illusion. I cannot explain it, but the wheel actually appear to be smaller now than they were when they were stock grey. I am sure it has something to do with the fact their is a greater visual distinction between tire and rim now.

Anyhow, it cost me $500 to have all 4 wheels chromed. The bummer was they had to put steel wheels on it while they chromed mine. I had to hide Matilda (my mini's name) in the garage for 4 days.

Anyhow, I have plans to lower it to reduce the wheel well gap and she should look pretty.

Like I said in my first post, I'm new to the site and am not sure if you can get my
E-mail info from the site or not.
Thanks mate.
