Seen an all black MCS the last time I was at my dealer. Pics don't do this color justice. It was really smart and sleek looking. Good choice. Happy waiting. Try not to go too crazy in 2 1/2 months.
Cheers,

Due to drive off the lot with my all Black MCS on the 10th of June, its got Prem/Sport/Weather packages, I'm going to upgrade the wheels and tint the windows. the roof and mirror's are black also. I am about to go nuts waiting on it 12 more days seem like forever

I have a Jet black S and the wait is totally worth it. I waited from August til December 4th of 2002, and as painful as the wait was, it really was worth it. And as for swirls, make sure you get a California Duster and DO NOT dry your car with an ordinary towel. I plan on tinting the windows as well, but maybe only the rears because it's illegal in IL for the fronts to be done. Oh well! Don't sweat the wait too much, because the end result is the best ever!

my previous car was a black lexus, and we also have a blacl gmc envoy. true, the color is a pain in the *** to keep clean. but it is SO worth it! Black looks great! I wouldn't hesitate to get a black car again.

I just picked up my black MINI last week. I absolutely love it! It looks totally tough in black. There's another thread on black minis here.

Twinky, if you haven't yet, go find the "can't wait for august club" thread and jump in. I'm an alumnus of the May version, and it really helped to pass the time.

All black is very nice- especially when clean-that is key.
Be careful of water spots- those happen easily. Get a car cover if needed to keep dust off.
Use the california duster as needed.
Consider chrome wheels or even anthracite or black wheels-all very nice.
If you chrome accent your exterior then the chrome wheels will match.
During the day it gets hot in a black car so tint the windows and drive at night

Nothing beats a black car....but i just was'nt willing to do the extra work to keep it clean and it always shows swirl marks sooner or later, black was my favorite but went with the charcoal metallic, kept the black roof though
