i recently ordered an item from mini mania. recently is three weeks ago!
the order was placed with the understanding it would be shipped in 3-4 days and an email sent notifying me of such a situation. IT HASN"T HAPPENED! they made no hesitation charging the account, but have been very slow in delivery as well as response to polite inquiries. Customer service is important for these people to stay alive. their products are elsewhere, and that is where i will go and i will encourage others to do the same. including you all. thank you for the venting.

I will remember not to order anything from them. I've recently ordered items from RSpeed with great customer service from Joe. Ive' also ordered online from Moss and received my items pretty fast.

let's save some time based on the MINI Madness thread that's going on today which hits on a similar issue....

Have you called them today? If so, what do they say?

Did they explain charging your card? In the Madness case people knew going in that their card was going to be charged in advance of product for getting in on a group buy. I assume that's not the case here.

I have had Minis for 30 years.I quit Mini Mania a long time ago for several reasons.Service has always been like that.Don is a fine person but his staff needs some help.My biggest problem is you would place an order of 10 items and get it in 8 shipments with shipping on each one.

I had the same bad experience last year with MINI MANIA when ordering parts for my 62 Mini. The orders took months to get and once they sent me stuff I did not order. They just do not carry a large inventory and it seems they are always back ordered and waiting for the containers from England. Check out the other sponsors listed in the main menu. I had good turn around time from MOSS MINI.

Just hope that you don't end up on their PT Cruiser catalog mailing list! I had to call at least three times before I finally stopped getting them.

Other than that, I have had nothing but good experience with Moss.
