Emily stumbles, redux...
Hi,
In the ongoing pursuit of figuring out why Emily stumbles on cold starts, Ive lately been turning the key to the "on" position for 3 to 5 seconds before engaging the starter. My reasoning, such as it is, is the engine seems to be starved for fuel, and holding the key in the on position allows the fuel pump to, for lack of a better word, "prime", the injectors. It seems to work.
It's also entirely possible it's a coincidence, and once again, I've been out-witted by a machine (not a rare occurence).
On an entirely different topic, I recently noticed a drop of water running down the inside of my rear window (after rain or being washed). I asked the tech who replaced my windshield to take a look, and he found nothing out of the ordinary. Does the sunroof drain go to the top of the hatch? Has anyone encountered something like this?
