Who's Going Where?
As this is the time of year when the frequency of MINI events starts to pick up, where are YOU planning to go this year?
For me, I'm planning on attending my first real MINI event in June: the MINIs On Top event at Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. As of the end of last week, I'm all registered and have a room reserved. I'm planning on being back in the US for most of June and it works for my schedule as well as looking like a neat event. Sunrise and sunset on top of the mountain both look to be really unique experiences.
So, QoC Members, what are your plans?

Well, my immediate answer would be whatever floats your boat!!
But uou know, when I was looking for events in June and MINIs On Top came up, my first thought was if they had a sense of the possible double entendre? Maybe I should not ask, so they do not have to tell (sorry, Mondays tend to bring out the sacrasm...)

We are back from MINIs On Top, and actually I'm ALL the way back to Taiwan.
This was our first MINI event and it was a great time! To be in the midst of 236 other MINIs and one Mini was Very Cool. Mt. Washington is quite a place; all 6288 ft of it. The event was well planned and I think everyone enjoyed themselves. There were people from all over the Northeast, with some from Canada, Florida and the Long Haul Award from North Dakota. This was the 9th MoT and to date they have raised over $60,000 for charity. For the last few years, Make A Wish of New Hampshire has been the recipient. Also, 6.288% of the money raised will go to the Mt. Washington Observatory (wonder why?!?!).
There is a write-up on AutoBlog:

They even included a photo of our 2009 JCW Clubman (Horizon Blue/Pure Silver) about 1/3 of the way down the page when it was parked near the Summit.
