Best place that does window tint?
I'm looking to get our MINI's windows tinted ASAP. I need a good shop here in Portland that does quality work. It doesn't have to be the cheapest. I just want it done right.
Recommendations?

I got my MINI pretty early in my area. a salesman at the BMW dealer told me about a place that he uses for BMW's. they did a great job in less than an hour. it was less than $130. great job even over the dots on the edges on the back windows. ask your BMW dealer who they recomend. our windows are the same as BMW's
Like Bluesmini suggested, Rasmussen will certainly know a reputable place for window tinting.
I had my windshield tinted at Alexia's Auto Tint in Beaverton, (503) 671-9615. They use computer-cut film for a more precise fitment, which will also allow the tint to fit all the way to the edge of the window for a cleaner install.

Thanks for the tips so far. I'll look into the beaverton connection and when I have our car into rasmussen in the next couple weeks for the next service, I'll ask about tint as well.
This is the place I used for my tint. Excellant work, the only thing I would do different is go darker next time. (25% instead of 35%).
All windows for $190.

You can take a look at mine if you want. I work in beaverton near Washington Sq. just let me know when. I watched the complete install and was impressed with the quality of workmanship. I would go with 25% if I was doing it again, but the 35% is legal whereas the 25% is not.

Same question but for the Berkeley area...
...does anyone have any suggestions for the Berkeley (CA) area? Is the installation affected by the age of the car/glass or is it all down to how well they prep before applying the tint?
Thanks!

Sorry about the delayed response...
It was $180.00. I'd pay it again. They did a great job. I went with the legal limit of 35% tint. I don't ever wanna have to tear it out and do it over because of a ticky tack traffic stop.

Here's the final product:

Super Nice!
Love the Motegi's!!!
Are those 17" Pirelli's, too? Did they fit together pretty well?

I totally forgot I posted this.
There is a warranty. Lifetime, IIRC. It's a heavy film that's a metallic plastic combo. Supposedly does not fade. The hand cut workmanship was top shelf.

a very nice ride for 18's. the wheel compound is gummier and softer than my previous 17" toyos....making the ride suprisingly better than the 17" setup.
crazy but true.
