I don't think I'm alone in the fact that I remember cars alot better than I remember faces. How about a thread with just pics of PDXMINI cars? I know that would help me keep track of who's who, and who I ran into at the latest meet.

Include the year/model and any interesting stuff you've done to your car.

One post per person in this thread, please, so that it's easier to scroll through and check out everyone's ride.

Here's mine:



It's an 04 Black/Black MCS with all the options except Nav, PDC and Leather. We've got the factory driving lights and chrome grill. About the only other mods we've done are a UUC shift ****/rear sway bar, and a custom sunroof shade.

We bought ours from Julie at Classic MINI in Ohio - flew out there in Jan and drove it home.

To post pics you've got to have your picture already online. Open your web broswer and type in the url (http://www. -whatever- ) so that your picture pops up. Then copy that url using copy/paste.

Then when you are writing your post, hit the white "IMAGE" button you can find under the smiley faces. Paste the url into the box that pops up. This will create a mess of stuff in your post that will translate into your picture after you hit submit.

If you need me to put a pic online for you PM me. I could also meet you somewhere, take a pic, and put it online.

Good idea, Mike! I don't expect many responses since both the PDX and NW forums are rather uneventful for some reason. Only a few NAM members post regularly on these 2 forums. Active discussion is almost non-existent here.

My mod list is a bit long, so I'll skip it. The best description for my MINI is IB/W with aero kit and a UJ on the sunroof.

I've got Tony, B/B MCS with custom white boot/bonnet stripes. once I figure out pictures I'll add some in. If you see a mini running around town with a "dragonslayer" window decal on him - that's Tony. He's also got two little dragons below his S badges/turn signals. He's also got the brakelight mod. I'd gladly show anyone how. It's super easy.

Waylen want's to come out to Portland and do a Pulley Party - any interested takers???? Shoot me a PM and we'll work out details - I've gotta email LaLa also. I think we're going to try to make it a joint venture with PDXmini.

Just downloaded the membership application for PDX MINI. Pictures to follow if we ever get Billy II delivered. It,s been in town for 9 days and counting. For now it is a HB/W 2006 S loaded.

 

Do you have a date that you are going to pick it up yet? HB is the best color BTW
