PSMINI is going to AMVIV II

So far we have three members of PSMINI going to AMVIV II. We are leaving the Puget Sound area on Thursday, March 3rd very early in the morning. We will stop in RENO Thursday night at the Peppermill Casino. I have 2 extra rooms booked. We will then leave early Friday morning for Vegas, it is an 8 hour drive from Reno.

We welcome anybody from the Pacific Northwest that would like to join us. Drop an email to psmini.org@comcast.net and just let us know where you would like to meet.

I know there are a few MINI's from eastern Washington that could use some nicer weather about that time of year.

any GS SCCA Racers around ??

I'll be racing GS (SCCA SOLO II) in an '05 MCS Convertible this season and would like to trade rides with someone for the National Tour Stop in the Seattle area in July. I'd entertain a ride swap for Walnut Ridge Airport, Arkansas, March 19 and 20 or Peru, IN, July 2 and 3. Both are National Tour Events.

I have nephews in Seattle and would love to combine a visit to them along with some competition at a National Tour. Anyone open to discussing this?

I'm Jerry in the Stlouis, MO area. and would appreciate your private reply to me at Wheelspnr@aol.com thanks.

Hello, just thought i would let you know about the speed traps on 95 south through nevada, i drove down for the first mini vac. last year and was told to watch out for Tonapa, and Goldfield, also could be a little ice or snow this time of year. i am from Lake Tahoe and decided to join Norcalminis and drive down i-99 and cut over onto 15 east this time . i wanted to convoy with like minded mini drivers and not go it alone. P.S. snowed 5 more inches on sunday night. Has any one seen green grass? been snowing since OCT.04...Glenn

Thanks for the info but the weather looks like clear and 50s during the day all the way from OR to Vegas. The trip from Reno to Vegas is 450 miles staying in NV while your route is 650miles. That is more than 3 hours additional driving. And going down 5 to 15 isa bit longer also and I think we are heading back that way.
