What I'll Trade The MINI For (Camaro)
So, look at all these good reasons to buy a Mustang!!!!
Possibly the Challenger in '09, but until we get confirmation from DCX, the Mustang looks like the way to go!
Now, when will the start selling those factory race '05 GT's for under $150k? I want one

When the car $ can only be spent on one vehicle, there are lots of apples to oranges competitions...

Have you done any mods to your Mustang? If I remember, yours is black with red interior also, tho I have the fastback. I installed Roush lowering springs, painted the calipers red -which looks great btw- and installed a Pioneer AVIC-D1 touchscreen navigation unit with XM. oh yea- I also added sequential taillights (turn signals) Next I'm planning chrome deep dish bullits I think..

As for the new Camaro, I'd get one... now I have reason to keep my GM card with all its GM dollars I am not cashing in on (thanks to my MINI hahaaa).

Not much came from Ford in the 60s other than the unibody! And the convertable top motor.... Oh, and the original AM radio. Only gets an oldie station, songs are the same vintage as the car....
Check the link in my signature. There are a few photos there.

There was some coverage of the Camero in the latest Automobile...
But was a bit scitsophrinic (sp?).... Says it's soo cool that GM has to make it, but it's based on the wrong platform, GM has no cash, and it can't really be ready for production until 2010! Wonder what gas will cost then? And if GM will still be here?!?! But the 400 HP from the corvette motor sure would be sweet!
But just like GM, start a skunkworks project on a dead end platform, get everyone all hot and bothered, then take a ton of time to do anything about it.

Last months R&T
says it is on the right platform to go to production, 2008 at the earliest...
Gas will be over $3 a gal, and GM will probably still be here.... But who knows if they'll still be around when you need replacement parts!
But then, the 05 Mustang sucess will have been three years old... And a bunch of new hot hatches will have been out, and a bunch of cool performance AWD platforms as well.
You have to wonder if it's just "kiddie soccer"... Everyone running around in a disorganized clump... Sure sounds like following, not leading....
Do you think that they'd make a 6 cyl version? Would that even sell so that they can get the unit volume up?
