Sad but true. Expect many more vehicles like this (most without the owner's forthright comments about condition). Shades of the 1993 Mississippi river flood.

It's deja vu all over again.

'course why not just get your insurance to declare it totaled and collect from them?

Hahahaha

I love it when rich people lose something really important in a natural disaster when others lose everything...

Uh, he also mentioned he lost his house and everything else. That's not too cool a thing to say man.

Beside, how does owning a 308 make him rich? Joe Anyman can buy one of those for like $30,000 if he wanted to.

Actually if you check around you can get a very nice 308 for LESS than a MINI, one just went through ebay for $17K, needed nothing, not a scratch,

Someone loses his house and everything else and someone thinks it's funny ?,
something real sick about someone like that.

Is anyone else bothered by the fact that the seller uses the word fone instead of phone? If he owns a Ferrari, wouldnt you assume some sense of correct spelling/grammer? Not to mention if he lost everything, and is already selling on ebay, without a fone, house, nothing, how is it he has the time to worry about an ebay auction and isnt dealing with insurance, FEMA and such? My guess is someone got ahold of this pic and is trying to cash in on a Ferrari that isnt there....

I was thinking the saem thing. Unless hes just trying to get some money to have fro essentials. His Seller rating is a 99.5%. Still, a great car and i wish i had 10K. And Whoever does own the car is lucky that generator lookin thing next to it in the picture didnt land on the car.

Maybe if he had a phone, he'd be selling a Pherarri?

Just chalk it up to his being a bit delirious after dealing with PHEMA.

LOL, yeah, well, Joe Blow can purchase a 308 but can't afford to OWN it. Or never drive it. A car like that should be driven not sit in a garage. It's like owning a Porsche 9xx and never drive it on the track. Or if it does see the track, it's driven like a girl is behind the wheel, ie. scared to death to hurt the poor little car. Now THAT is a crime.

Nah, who cares. I couldn't care less if the guy lost that car, not sad to me at all. Life is tough, get used to it.

Hell yeah! Driving a Ferrari in nice weather is b o r i n g. Take that puppy for a spin in the middle of a farking hurricane! That'll save it from the garage collapsing on it, now, wouldnt it?

What if it were you?!

Hey Monkey Boy, If you lost your MINI I'm sure you would feel different. Have a little heart. So what if the car just so happen to be in the garage at that particular time. You have no clue just how much that Ferrari was driven or not. What if the owner had to leave in a hurry and had no chance to find a trailer or driver to get the car out.

I think, no, I'm sure that you react to so called "rich" people like you do because it would appear you'll never be. You just don't have to be so negative towards such people because they may not be "rich" anymore, but then again, you probably like that.

Golly. There must be more to come. Much more as the place dries out and people gain access to their stuff. Sad.

That car has 45,000 miles over 20 years. I wonder if most of the driving in a car like a Ferrari is done by the first or second or subsequent owners.

Exactly, but the 308 is a pretty cool car.

These guys think I take my own comment seriously. Some of you know me well enough... I enjoy pulling legs, like Inioway.

But honestly, cars are things and I don't get attached to them. Same is true for any material thing. I just don't care. To allow yourself to become attached to material things is to suffer. As to rich or not, who cares. I've done well for myself and don't have a single issue with rich people unless they never give back.

As for Katrina, certain people should be jailed for their complacency, including the governor. But alas, those who failed their duties to the people will not be punished, as seems to always be the case.

Monkey_Boy, watch the political comments, okay? Plenty of blame to spread around, but not here on NAM. Take it to another site. Thanks.
