Walked into circuit city today and they said expected arrival is Jan 20th I need some driving thrills, seeing as the MCS is stored until Mid-March. Tho, strangely, I have satisfaction knowing that she is all shined up and staying out of all that salt and grime :smile:

 

I spend too much time racing my friends and not enough time completing the game .

I think I'm only at like 30%.

 

Was at Walmart today and finally that guy, ya know, the one thats been eating way too many potatochips all his life, confirmed that in fact this game will not be in this week and will be in on the 20th of Jan.

I've used it a couple hours now, and I must say...it's a little harder than I thought it was going to be - but still better than the DS controller. Loads of fun.

Now if I can get something better than the card table it's on, I'll be set.

This is my first steering wheel, so I can't compare for you. I've only read that the 900 degrees is more realistic and the feedback has improved. I would say that for GT4 there is no other wheel. The DFP has the GT4 logo on it - suhWEET

 

I just picked up a new slimline PS2 this week specifically so I can play GT4 when it comes out. I got GT3 pre-played for like $8 and a few other games like ATV Offroad Fury 3 and Sly 2: Band of Thieves.

ebgames.com has a deal going on right now for 50% off a 2nd pre-played title. Obviously the 50% is off whichever title has the lowest price. ATV and Sly2 were both $36.99 or something so I ended up paying ~$46 for both when stacking that deal on top of the Edge card's 10% off also. Good deal...but I want GT4 so bad!

I also got the cordless Logitech Action Controller and I like it a TON more than the corded 1st party pad. It's sort of 2nd party though like the Wavebird is for GameCube.

Not sure I will get the wheel though as it seems a little bit overkill.

 

Now that it's out in Japan it shouldn't be too much longer now. Soon we will be trading virtual MINI photo mode pictures.

Went by Best Buy Earlier this week and they had the release date at 16MAR for it. Looks like the date slipped again...
