Car shop ruins a brand new 350Z

Don't read the post, just scroll down to the pictures... Then go back and read if you really want to, but the pictures tell the whole story.

Um...

Wow.

I'm pretty sure I could have done better with duct tape and WD40.

The dude had left over drywall screws, he may have been a great drywaller, not so much a body man.

Where is this place??

I need to get some work done on my new JCW. I think this is the place to take it. They look like they really care about a quality finished product.
Seriously it looks like your car will never be the same as before the shop ruined it. They need to be run out of business.

Holy Crap. If that was my car I would have probably had a heart attack and died. Or be in jail for murdering the guy who did that!

I'm glad I get serviced at the dealer or Detroit Tuned!

Looks like amateur hour. Kids at a Vocational Technical High School would do better work.

If the guy were a dry walled he at least would have put "mud" over the screw heads.

So, he just took a perfectly good car in for a body kit and they ruined it? I'm not going to waste my time reading that whole thread. However, the pictures are appalling. They shouldn't have signed off on the work.

Who the F referred someone to this company? Always do you research first, tour the shop before you make a decision.
At this point I hope they sue the **** out the shop and run them into the ground. Your car is DONE, Anyone who has this happen should SUE SUE SUE.
You need to call the better business bureau, and did I mention. Sue

No, it wasn't that bad, but it was close. Overall, the body kit was installed decently, it was the paint job the company did that sucked.

I'm an Estimator at a Collision Center we complete vehicles with top quaility workmanship, utilize the proper parts and materials and Yes the shop is expensive... Now compared to local butcher where you can get repairs completed at 1/2 or 1/3 less. I wish you and your vehicle all the best. Remember it's not a Television that comes in a box your comparing prices to. It's your Car. Do a little research, ask to see examples of work, and THINK is this were I want my Car repaired. You will always get what you pay for. Remember it's more cost effective to do it right than to do it twice. - Mark

I suppose it has a sort of deconstructivist feel to it.
I would have died on the spot!

Dude, are you serious? What have you been puffing on down there in Winter Park?

Go back and take a look. The obvious flaws are the screws he used to hold the kit to the car. There are runs in the paint....you know, I'm going to stop right here and hope you were just joking.

Woulda looked better if they'd just left the bumpers primered like you're supposed to. WTF would you paint a body kit? Nobody here does that.

Classic story...

sounded too good to be true and was.... Didn't inspect the car at pick up.... Got screwed....

Very expensive lesson for sure... Fixing it right is gonna cost way more than what he paid in the first place.

Still, it sucks.

Lesson learned: Leave the car stock and save yourself the headache.

He needs to go to court and sue the daylights out of this shop. That car is ruined beyond repair.
