if I can get a chance to go take a look at it, I will, we will see if the schedule permits me to run by.

I can check it out for you

if you like, even take some more closeup pics.

Just give me the info and it will be done if not today, by late tomorrow.

Not a problem. I just sold my 540i Sport (to my dad) but I do miss it something awful. That car had some giddy-up, much more so than the MINI, but mostly useful in a straight line. Had it all fixed up nice with some new paint, etc. but now...I have to go home to visit it. Shame. But I did get first right of refusal when it sells again.

OK, I checked it out

They had it in the showroom, indoors at

Rocky Mtn Eurosport
6895 Leetsdale Drive
Denver, 80224
Mike Gebhardt
303-531-8300

The car is as advertised, with a full 80k on the odo. It is in expected condition for the mileage. It has CO road rash on the front but a clear bra has mitigated some of that. The passenger side windshield has a large visible hole that I would have fixed or replaced. The trunk is clean, no factory CD changer. Back seat is mostly unused (not that it is that useful) and it appears the driver seat is much more worn than the passenger, indicating either a large man or no spouse. No large or plainly visible door dings and the car has been waxed but not detailed to MINI or NAM standards. The tires are in good condition, Ecsta I believe as advertised. Did not get under the car. In side is clean but again, it has been detailed. Did not open the hood.

The salesman was professional and pleasant and will take your call.

Hope this helps. It is a nice blue color - not for me but nice.

Large rock chip

Not a crack, just a sizeable hole, meaning when you drag your fingernail over it you can feel it. It is big enuf to have volume.

As compared to a star, where if you drag your fingernail over it you cannot feel it. It has no volume.

I would replace the windshield.

Xenons w/o washers or halogen projectors??

I've been playing email tag with a salesman and he insists that the car has Xenons but no washers . Is that possible?
Xenon is the "round" bulb I describe below.

What you are refering to is the headlight washer that comes as part of the "Cold Weather Pkg", or "Winter Pkg", I forget which BMW calls it.

Xenon's are not part of "cold weather". They are a stand alone option.

In fact I think the picture you sent me is a car with "cold" but not with Xenon. It is hard to see in the pic.

As you see my picture this car has Xenon.

I don't know about the washers

as I did not take a pic.

There is a large rock hole in the windshield which I would not live with. Plenty of gravel rash. To me, worth replacing.

washers not required on Xenons

I called up the local BMW dealer and they said washers are a part of a cold weather package as the saleman stated. So if you see headlight washers on
certain cars other than Mini's it does not mean it has Xenons!

I looked around on eBay it seems like there are 3 series without washers and having Xenon, also any consideration of a BMW 330i with Performance Package?

Yea that xenon headlight question is a problem .Nobody can give a confirmed answer it seems. I can tell if the car has them if I'm there but I'm not. You just have to turn on the lights and watch them come on.
330xi's and i's rock! I think the 325 's are slugs compared to them. But looking for the right color and interior at the right price range within a reasonable distance takes some compromise . Used cars and a budget sucks.

You should check out the 330i ZHP, they look very nice, looks really sporty, but though the budget sucks, ehh, look around?

Shoot BMWUSA an email with the VIN and see if they are as helpful as the MINIUSA people? They might be able to get you a full option list.
