Saturday October 14th. Northwestern Indiana MINIacs are are planning a backroads trip to the Tabor Hill Winery in St. Joe Michigan (about 1 1/2 hour or a bit less trip). We are meeting at about 1:30 p.m. at Cofee Creek Park (49 and 1050 north in front of the fountain). We will take the backroads up there and either tour the winery, hang out... then we will eat dinner up there at the winery restaurant. Should be fun.

Congrats on the NEW club!

I setup the wine drive of SW MI a few months ago, I'd be more than happy to mail hard copies to you of the route we used, a very fun and twisty drive.

I'm also a Wine Know and there are 2 winerys right there in NW IN, but the roads in MI are more fun.

I will try and make it for your drive too.

If one of you are going to be at this Sundays event, I can drive the maps there too.

Sounds like fun. I may stay in Michigan to visit friends, but one-way is better than none.

question: is that construction still goin on on rt 49?

 

Unfortunately Yes. But the official word is that once you get to Coffee Creek Park, that will be the last that you have to drive on rt 49.

 

I would absolutely love to join the run, but I'm not certain I will have ownership by that time. It should be close!

 

sounds like fun, cathy and gary plan on going, doing the double that day, cmmc and then off to indiana...

 

Just go to a local Vinyl shop and get some 4 in wide strips. Put them on your current ride and Join us in a "Counterfit" MINI if yours hasn't arrived by then!

Looks like everyone had a fantastic time.

 

I enjoyed the pics. So far that is all I have been able to do. I plan on making reservations soon for the dragon though. I have a chili red mc.
