We're getting together for an October Run:

DETAILS:

DATE: Saturday, October 28th

TIME: 9:00AM (clutches out @ 9:15)

MEET-UP: Xilinx parking lot at 2100 Logic Drive in San Jose (near 85 & Union Ave.)

ROUTE: See below - we'll end in San Juan Bautista for lunch

I run most of this route 2x a day during the week - I'm up to doing it again on a Saturday.

Good job on the maps. I like the route. Now I just need to dress up my Mini for the occasion.

 

Looks like it will be fun. I now need to figure out what to dress BENDER in for a Halloween costume!

 

We too are trying to decide what to dress up a MINI in.... Hmmm...

I was in San Juan B. today for the British show. It is very nice there in the historic down town. There are good places to eat and sights to see. I drove San Juan Grade and it was a nice twisty bit of road. We are going to have fun next weekend.

SJB had perfect weather and a nice turn out - sorry I couldn't stay ... I didn't even have time for pictures.
San Juan Grade to Old Stage Rd is a good ride.

If you haven't been on a "Nikki" run, you don't know what you are missing. These guys (& gals) know how to have a GOOD time. You will not be disappointed. Make sure your seat belts are buckled good and be ready for some "spirited" driving!!!!!!

FWIW, the route takes us on Uvas Canyon Road which is proudly displayed in the monthly photo contest in photo #1 which needs all the help in votes that it can get <hint-hint>. Not all of us can live in New England for the vivid fall colors.

 

I may be able to make it, need to test my new sway bar anyway.

Looks like I won't be making any runs until after "football season" is over for all you football fans and we can go back to Sunday runs ! I'll be thinking about you all on Saturday
