MOASF Banzai Beach Blast Sat 07/22/06
As posted on the MOASF board:
The Sixth Annual Banzai Beach Blanket Bash. This run included some of the hottest Mini-friendly roads in the bay area mountains and one of the most authentic British pubs around complete with double decker bus. The roads like Skyline Drive, Highway Nine, La Honda, and many others are calling us back and I don't know how any twisty-minded Mini owner could resist!
We are meeting Saturday, July 22, at 9:30 am in the parking lot in the rear of the Pioneer Hotel and Saloon very close to the “Park N Ride” just west of the 280 at 2925 Woodside Rd. Woodside, CA 94062
Watch your speed through Woodside because it is heavily watched by the local peace officers and bikes and pedestrians abound. There is a gas station directly across from the Hotel if you need a fill up before we get underway.
We will be departing on this fabulous driving adventure at 10:00 am sharp to get to the coast at a proper time for lunch.
We wont need to bring a picnic lunch, we will arrive on the coast and proceed to Cameron’s Inn & Pub near Half Moon Bay for lunch where you can indulge in a taste of Guinness or Stout (or any other English concoction). We get a great turn out every year, don’t miss it!
