Plans are, some kind of intake upgrade, so far I'm thinking of just upgrading the filter to a sponge filter I came across earlie since it's really the only way to keep a "true cold air" intake full of fresh-ish air. I've seen some that utilize the hood scoop but it's a daily driver and can't worry about sucking in water. Then bigger intercooler, upgrade charge pipes... The basics I suppose

Thanks man! Yours is a wicked lookin machine. Do you have any knowledge about the intercoolers? I was curious about pressure drop if I were to go with one of those stepped intercoolers, whether or not they'll throw a code once installed, all that jazz.

Helix is a vendor on here with some really good info about Intercoolers. I know they make a pretty good one that you should check out (maybe he'll pop in here too and give you some input). Otherwise, personally I've used Forge products and their IC here is very good quality and performs well. Good review of it with some info here. From what I've seen, I don't believe you'll have any issues once installed.

Yep, the previous owner did that. I was thinking of changing all the mirrors over to the checkered flag, but I'm beginning to find out that in the Mini world, it's all about the Union Jack Speaking of JCW, how were you able to tell? The body kit? Forgive my newb-ness. I've been researching, how do I know if I have the 200+ hp JCW or the 180 hp? I decoded the vin and it says i have the N18 engine, but unsure of whether or not it's a true JCW I guess. I'm not really sure if there is a difference between an S JCW and JCW

Its looks like one from those pics but I cannot see the brakes. You can confirm its with the last 7 digits of the Vin, or looking for the Checkered sticker on the dash, JCW brakes, body kit ( some years ) . Hard intake pipe on the N14 engine. Red pattern shift ****. Red stitched steering wheel ( certain years ) and of course certain options.

Vin is the easy way. Post those last 7 digits. If you have a factory JCW for 2012 it will still have the N14 engine but in JCW form. 208 hp.

TY28562 are the last 7. It does have a Red shift **** pattern, and red stitching on the steering wheel, and it does have the hard intake pipe. But I the decode says N18 so I guess it's not?

Its a 2011 Cooper S ( N18 ) with the JCW exterior / interior package options. Not a factory JCW . Buts its had allot of the options.

Ok, thanks! Now... I just need a few upgrades to get me up to 211 hp.. Would some JCW injectors, a intercooler upgrade and maybe a tune get me there?

To 2011 you would need to do some work. The JCW Tuning kit get you to 189 and all JCW sound. 11122208028 , People like it to keep it all a factory.

To get to FJCW level you will need an intake, intercooler, exhaust , and a Tune ( we don't currently carry MINI tunes other then what comew with a JCW kit ). There is no JCW injector, you are maybe thinking Gen 1 MINI. Gen 2 MINI , which you have is a dirrect inject system. No upgraded bosch high flows here.
