May 27 is the British car ride over Mt. Ham. I guess I already voted for April 29. Otherwise I am for moving it to June. Well I would do it again if the official ride was later.

So where have people gone on night rides? I wonder 'cause you can't see as much (or make out the CHP, or deer in the roads as well ) and traffic on a weekend night can be tough.

In any case we could get together the Sat night before the ad run, only thing is I doubt we can manage too late since the SO will have had to be up early for work. Speaking of the ad agency thing, are they providing brekky or is that something we should cover beforehand?

I vote for May 27th for now.. If we move into June that may be a little better for folks.

As for the last SF night run, it was a Saturday, but it was late enough that traffic wasn't an issue. Just food for thought...

eVal,

From the message I got, BSSP (the Ad agency) is planning to put on a "Coffee & bagels" breakfast. See below:

"BSSP has one favor to ask of you: Please bring your video camera. We will provide DV tapes and collect them at the end. Then we will edit the footage down to a short film/documentary made by you, for you.

We will be meeting in the east parking lot of Crissy Field beach at 8:30am. We will have a tent and tables set up. This is where we will have some breakfast (bagels and coffee).....

......The run ends at the agency. Here we will have lunch waiting. We will give some tours, let you mosey around and even do a short presentation or our work and perhaps an insider's view of our up-and-coming MINI ads. We also have about $800 worth of raffle prizes donated to us by the dealers around the bay area. So many of us will be going home wearing some MINI gear.

Thanks! I RSVPd with the agency and never received any kind of response...

And MSFIT, I know those sounds! Brap brap brap But they do not have them on all the time, nothing beats keeping the ol' eyes peeled too

Saturday May 27 & Sunday May 28 are the dates for Randy Webb's last Pulley Party at Bay Bridge Motors in Oakland.... may not make any difference to everyone.

Looks like Norm is doing a night run on 4/29 for those staying in SF for the Ad Agency run on 4/30. For me that's just too much - driving until 2am or so then getting up at 6:30 to be in Sausilito by 8:30 for a full day of driving. Not gonna happen.

So, for those who voted for 5/27, are you still in??? And is anyone else interested in this date? Randy's Grand Finale PP is that weekend but usually goes from 9-5 or so. Hell, maybe he'd want to ride along with one of us?!? Anyway, post your thoughts so we can get some finalized details posted.

Count me in for the 27th. I can swing by to say farewell to Randy on Sunday. I kinda put a dent in my "mod" budget in Vegas .....gotta wait for the smoke to clear before the next round of mods.
Good Lord willing...I will be in sausalito by 8am.....no midnight run for me

27th sounds fine with me,too. I'll be at the Pulley Party all day(more goodies!)and will try to get Randy to join us. Maybe I'll shoot some photos for MC2. How does "Midnight Mavericks" sound?
Back to Bed,
Jim

Put me down for the 27th as well. I, like Brian know absolutely nothing about driving around in SF . This should be interesting. You won't let me get lost..........right?

There's no need to fear, Underdog is here!
We're drawing up the route and will get maps posted as soon as it's finalized.

My favorite place to stop on a night trip to San Fran was the Palace of Fine Arts Over by Fort Mason. Would be a real nice Photo Op.

Crack that whip.

The 27th would be great. I will get to check out my new pully from Randy.

How about a group photo around the fountain at the Legion of Honor in Lincoln Park?

Sounds good, I'll be there. If things go as planned, I'd be the last one to get Randy's pulley on Saturday, hope my MCSa won't hold him for too long.
