anybody interested in a weekly or bi weekly starbucks meet here in the bay area. its a great way to meet fellow motorers see other peoples creations exchange ideas have fun. great way to unite fellow mini addicts like after work mon to fri (pick a day around 7pm here from san bruno to foster city? :smile:

Redwood Empire Mini Enthusiasts is mostly North Bay folks so San Bruno to Foster City would be a real long commute for a weekly meeting.

Yes, it would be quite the drive for most of us to go to San Bruno or Foster City, although we do have a few members in San Francisco, east bay, and the Peninsula. You're better off posting this in the Northern California forum or visit the C3 website and click on "find a mini budy now" (we have a link on our links page at http://redwoodempiremini.com/links.htm). Put in the date of your "event" and notify everyone registered within a definable radius.

It's a good thought. I would like to meet up on a semi regular basis. Probably couldn't do every week but once a month sounds good. I'm on the Peninsula. But work in San Jose. So anywhere from San Bruno on down to San Jose would be good for me.

 

Hamann and everybody,

I work in Foster City and commute from San Jose. I just picked up the Mini Cooper Service Manual and plan some maintenance in a few months. I'm 50,000 tommorow. I do not have much mechanical experience, but want to save a little money, know more about my Mini, and maybe even add some mods down the road.

Any body interested in learing more about their Mini's or any body down to dispense some advice? I'd be interested in contacting you.

I'm also down to for local drives.

There is a starbucks in Livermore just off the first street exit. It is in the safeway shopping area...... Lots of parking. The parking at the starbucks next to hooters in dublin if that is the one you are referring to is kind of tight on parking.
Anyone down for the livermore area?

 

Sorry I can't do the east bay, traffic would really suck on 580.

 

I would be game. New to the Mini, it would be a hoot to get say 10-50 in a parking lot all at once.

 

MiniFly and I have been meeting at the Starbucks on Castro St. in Mtn. View on Thursday nights. We've been meeting late (9:30 or so) but I'd be game to moving it up if anyone else would be interested in stopping by.

We're usually still there, but Starbucks tends to close @ 10:30 if there isn't much traffic - occasionally they stay open until 11, so we hang around until they take all the tables/chairs away. Come on by!
