West Coast Dents in Pleasanton, CA

Thought I would give a plug for West Coast Dents. They are a PDR shop in Pleasanton. I got a ding on my driver door I took it to Dent Pro and they said the only way they could fix it was to drill a hole on the side of the door. I called East Bay Mini and they recommended West Coast. They were able to remove the dent. It looks great to me but they mentioned it still was a little bumpy and offered to sand it down a little if I wanted. I wasn't willing but they said if I change my mind I can bring it back and they will sand it down for free. Anyway big for West Coast Dents.

Note: they are pricier than Dent Pro, but they do a very good job!

DentPro gave me a phone estimate of $90 - $125. West Coast Dents quoted me $125 - $250.

Dent Pro fixed three dents for me (including one dilly of a humdinger) for $150.00.

West Coast told me they would not be able to remove (the humdinger) + they were more expensive.

Right on! That price is more like it, I'll be giving them a call when I need to.

I have a guy here at MINI of Concord who pulls dents on Fridays and Saturdays, named Bob, who is an absolute artist.

Our base charge is $150 per panel, depending on the severity of the dents.

I used Dings Plus (http://www.dingsplus.com) with great success. They are based in Santa Clara. They charged me $175 to take out a cluster of about 5 door dings from the rear driver side panel (including a botched attempt at a self repair ) of various depths and sizes. Came to my work and did it in about an hour. No holes drilled.

They also repair windshield chips but I haven't used them for that (yet )

I used them twice for windshield chips. Met me at work and did a great job.
