Hi everyone. Just a quick announcement to notify all Northern California Mini & MINI owners that there is another club in the area. Our forum is being hosted here by North American Motoring.

Our club is primarily serving those in the North Bay Area, Redwood Empire, and the Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino and Lake County Wine Country. But all are welcome to join our membership and our activities.

Hi Jason,
Your picture is posted. It could be a little wider if you find another one in the future, but looks good anyway.

You should also sign up for our message board at http://minicooper.meetup.com/2/. Most club activities are posted first there, and you have access to contact any members and a members message board from there as well.

We are in the process of planning February and April runs and they should be posted soon. March we will plan on Las Vegas and possibly another run.

Peter

How wide do you need it to be? I am going to take another pic soon for MiniMechanics site.

just have a little more space in front of the bumper and behind... I'll crop it to fit. You noticed that I have to remove a lot of picture off the top & bottom. I centered the car in your other photo, removing some parking lot behind... thought it looked better than having the parking spot behind. If you look at the pictures, a front-side, or rear side works best.

Not any emergency... when ever you get to it. The existing picture looks good (just a little bit smaller than the others)

Jason, I started to import your new photo, but I could not bring myself to use it. The photo already posted is a much better picture with lighting as well as seeing more of the front of the car. I will take some photos on the next run you are on and see if I can capture a better picture, but the one posted really looks good.

Cool, another mini club

Hey folks. Glad to find out that it was so easy to join this club. I'm already apart of NorCal Minis. Not sure if I'll make alot of the get togethers since I live in San Jose, but I plan on making a few of them at least. I love the north bay area, but I'm not as familiar with the back roads as I would like to be.

thx
Druidic Mojo

Welcome to REME Druidic

Please also sign up on our message board at http://minicooper.meetup.com/2/. Most of our runs are first posted there, and most emailings originate from there. If you want your car's photo shown on the members page of our web site, please email me a photo of your car (either front-side or rear-side). I will crop the photo as necessary so send one with lots of area around the car.

Hope to see you on a future run... maybe in Las Vegas.

Next time we do a run you are more than welcome to try to snap a better one.... thanks for switching out to that one in the meantime though... For some reason I thought you said to try to fill the picture with the car

I have to keep the pictures proportional... 100 pixtels high x 220 pixtels W (I think, going from memory). The photo you sent me was already cropped on the sides, and my limitations were in the height. I could stretch this pictures width to fill up the space, but it may look a little funny.

If you send me a picture with more space at the front and rear of the car, I can crop it and fill up the available space... otherwise you can wait, and I'll take care of it when I see you next.
