Anyone know? Or, does anyone know of a location in the north bay that can do a pulley install?

Thanks

No Pulley Party is scheduled that I know of. If you go to Webb Motorsports at http://www.webbmotorsports.com/forums/index.php you can ask Randy to schedule one. I think most of us oin the bay area that were planning on that upgrade have already had Randy do the install at one of the last two pulley parties in this area. But I think that a lot of us are ready for an ECU upgrade.

If you ask him, he will post a thread for people to sign up on.... if there is interest and enough to justify his plane ticket, I am sure he will set one up.

I know that IU would have him install a Uni chip.

The Bay Area was the first to receive a repeat visit from Randy, so why not be the first to have 3?! If there is sufficient interest, I'm sure one can be arranged...

As some know, I organized the first, and contributed minimally with the second. If Randy does indeed come-out again, since I already have the UNIChip, I might ask him about a SC belt change, although that might not be worth his time...

If he is not back from Illinois, he should be soon. As shared above, go to his website, and do some probing with a new thread. Likewise, post interest threads here, and on MINI2, linking to your thread on Randy's site. Dinlo has experience, and will most likely help with the cooridinating, as would I...

Good luck!

I tryed to post on his website for him to do one and I it said my posted needed to be aproved before it would go up. It's been days and still nothing. I wanted him to do one also, don't care which month although the fall time frame works for me. I would hope we could do one as I am looking forward to getting it done.

Anybody else know of a place to get a pulley done in the bay area? Seems like the only place I've been told is some place in Campbell but he only will use Mini Mania stuff, no walk in pulley. I would like to install an Alta pulley since that's Randy's most used..... I know, I know doesn't make a real difference which pulley you use but like I said I would rather have the Alta.

GS Tuning in Santa Rosa, (707) 284-2686 does high performance work on all BMWs (and MINIS too). I had them install Nology wires (that I bought from Randy) on my car and I am taking it to them this week to have it fixed after it went to the dealer for the rear fogs (the dash now rattles like crazy and the back lights to aux. gauges are out).

They indicated to me that they would be happy to do any installs whether you buy the parts from them or not.

It's a really well run business and very clean in both the sales floor as well as the shop. I highly recommend them if you are in the North Bay or are willing to travel to Santa Rosa.

You could also check with Seven Enterprises in Auburn, CA to see if they are doing pulleys yet. http://www.7ent.com/

I just cross-posted on MINI2, linking to a thread on Randy's website. From past experience, these things take a fair amount of pushing before the momentum takes over. With the number of MINI's in SF, and surrounding areas growing at a decent clip, I'm sure there are more than enough folks who would want a 15% reduction SC pulley installed by the master himself. We just need to get the word out...

Here's the thread for those who want this to happen:

DynoSpot Racing in San Jose is just awesome. They have always done a great job and their pricing is honest unlike a lot of BS places. Plus you can have pre and post install Dyno's done on the same day/dyno which is great for comparison's sake...
