Sorry for the delay in getting this posted. Holidays and moving all at once
. We will meet up at Robertson Park on South Livermore Ave at 1pm (right before Concannon). This one is more of a social event with some nice roads thrown in. I've set up tastings at 4 or 5 wineries along with some tours. The last one is at Wentes center with a cave tour
with tasting. Some places charge for tastings some don't. Wente is $10 but is something special. After the wine tasting its pizza time
(630 or so).

Hey Frumpy.....
No need to miss out! we can save a bottle for you and pop the cork
at a BBQ or something down the road.
What's your fav..red or white?
Rick
PS: how's the car doing?

Pizza is at Gay 90's Pizza on the east side of Main St in Pleasanton. Take Santa Rita off 580 and head south till it changes to Main. Its almost at the end of Main so if you hit Bernal turn around. Be there around 630-7ish.
As for the car, I finally dropped it off TODAY at German Motors in SF for repairs. I ended up calling MINI SF for their recommended bodyshop. I noticed quite a few brand new BMW's and MINI's with MINI SF paperplates awaiting for repairs in their reception garage... The estimate is about $400 because it's pretty much all cosmetic damages. However, if they happen to find dents underneath the plastic trim, my whole bumper might get replaced. *crosses fingers* - I already have a few paint chips on the bumper. If it gets replaced, at least I don't have to worry about touching it up.

Plus, I'm temporary driving a Mazda 3 as my rental for the next few days. It'd be strange for me to drive with all the MINI's and a lonely Mazda 3 in the party...
Sorry we couldnt make it to pizza with you guys, we had an appointment
to get to. But running into Jim on the way back and blasting him with
the 'supernovas' was great fun
Jim
Yup, that was us on the way back home -we saw Greg go by
The lights did great on their first run (especially useful down the canyon)
It WAS cold! And I learned today that my MINI doesn't like the cold
either

Wish we could have been there for the pizza.
We took a break from filming on this run. When holding
the cam outside the speeding MINI, I think my arm
would have froze right off.
We got our still pics up.

Great time. Sorry I didn't make Wente and pizza, but when the temperature hit 40 degrees F had to get home to get the dogs inside. CA is filled with small little wineries and produce producers. Look forward to doing it again with you guys. For us MCS owners it was a nice combo of whirring and, ah w(h)ining

*sniff* I wanna go wine tasting...but I have to work that day.
