I have registerred for the final leg of Mini takes the states from NJ to Limerock in CT. I am hoping to hook up with others from the area that are doing this leg so that we can get a group together going from CT to NJ. Anyone out there?

I am located in Vernon, CT. I work in Avon. I drive the BRG/BLK Cooper and pass no less than 10 different Minis enroute to work during the course of a week. Is this you?

 

Going down to NJ Sunday morning and staying at the Sheraton where the MINI HQ is located that night. Hope to hook up with others for an early drive to Lime Rock that includes some back roads. There was talk of this on another thread.

We may go to DC, but probably not...let's see how many folks we can get from CT/Mass area. I don't know if it's me, but this area seems to be lacking enthusiasm!

 

I live in NJ but I'm going to school in Boston. I will be driving from Boston to VA on Friday. Then I will be going from those legs on.

 

If you are planning to come to Lime Rock on Monday, Sept 4th for the Rolex Historic Races, and the giant MINI gathering, you need to register on MTTS! (for the last leg)

You will get a free ticket, food and drink, and special MINI parking.

Do register NOW if you haven't already - registration closes on July 17.

Does anyone know when MTTS is slated to arrive at Limerock Park? (Time?)

 

Throwing my hat in here......I know that NEMINI and USMINI are both motoring from JC to CT....there is a group of us going to DC a few days early then motoring from DC to JC together. If anyone is interested...PM me and I'll get my cell number to ya! BTW...My screen name is Bootsi on both sites!

 

For anyone going to Lime Rock at the end, there is a map on GPMINI.net which shows MTTS entry (bottom of map) and outfield parking, GP entry (top right) and infield parking, and the MINI exhibit area and hospitality ...

BTW, Mira- I think I have seen you- I see tons of Minis in the West Hartford/Avon area- I work in Hartford @ New Country Mini, and live in Torrington

The MINI group is staying at the Sheraton? I thought they were all staying at the Hyatt Regency in Jersey City....thats where I got a room. Damn, I though there were going to be some interesting parties and stuff going on there. I guess not.
