Hey, anybody out there near the CT region want to set up some type of meeting for a day to just cruise or whatever? I'm growing tired of my friends not wanting to go cruising around once in a while anymore because all they cry about is gas prices. Also, i've never had a mini experience with more than 1 other mini!

 

yeah that sounds like fun. i am in the south eastern chunk and there are plenty of twisty roads. it is going to have to be in the summer or on a weekend because of school.

Just picked up our CR/W, S 3 weeks ago. We live in Holyoke, just north of Springfield, MA. We could do some homework and find the best roads in the area between the 2 of us and motor!

Mistro, I'll be in Stamford Monday for a golf thing (apparently a 3-some was missing a really bad player and asked me to be their 4th!). I'll be sure to look for you in the MINI towing a sailboat :-)

Sounds great! I was thinking sometime in june would be good for a cruise, the weather should be good and there shouldn't be any school interference. I've got to check out some roads to go on, unfortunately i haven't been out just randomly driving in a while.

has anyone been around the north stonington area, plenty of nice roads, a little to residential on some of them and the people here dont like outsiders.

 

Please keep me in mind. My car and I should be on the mend with our final mods by mid June. I know some great backroads in Litchfield County.

 

My 03 Cooper is going into the body shop tomorrow - danced with a deer. But as soon as it comes out - would love to join.

Driver's side crinked - managed to not take it straight on - just a glancing blow. Insurance says 3 grand!

ANYONE besides me going to MINIs On Top next Friday?

 

I wanted to do the Maine and New Hampshire events, as I have spent time on Mount Desert and know it well and have a family house in the White Mountains. Unfortunately, my daughter's high school graduation is on June 17, so I must skip this year. I plan to do the MTTS leg from NJ to Lime Rock and hope to do some informal events and driving later this summer and fall. I would like to check out some of the roads along the west bank of the Hudson above and below West Point.
