I was thinking straight up Taconic (good curvy roads). There's a park towards the end and we can have a potluck lunch. Maps will be provided for all before the event.
We'll meet at my place and I'll not leading this time. :smile: I'm thinking April because the snow should be gone by then :smile: (and I'll be open 1 year)

April sounds good. I like the idea of more motoring. I don't like the idea of a potluck. There's too much of a chance to spill that bean salad on the twisties.

One question: would this event be sponsered by MINI of Westchester? At the Prestige rally this past Sunday, I was questioned by some of their staff about the Bear Mtn. run. They were PO'd that Westchester MINI took over a local grassroots event. I think they were more PO'd that they missed out on a chance to advertise their dealership.

 

Actually the last event was not sponsered by me. I like to get together with other MINI enthusists just like everyone else for a good time. They were more than welcome to join us. Most of the people who attended were Prestige customers. Please note: I WILL be sponsoring an event in May at my dealership.

 

Sounds like fun. Count me in! I cant wait for all this snow to go away, and for nice warm weather to finally get here. I wanna open up my sunroof and enjoy that fresh spring air.. I am so sick of winter! ugh!

That's good news miniqueen. For our April event, we can let all of the tri-state dealerships know about it and maybe we'll get over 100 MINIs to come this time.

Passover begins April 16th, Easter is April 20th. How about earlier in the month, either the 6th or the 13th?

I like the idea!!! I'm not sure about the pot luck . Maybe stuff everything in a picnic basket in the car.

Morales and I started the last one and asked people to tell their dealershps if they wanted to help out. Guess nobody spoke to Prestiege or they said they were having an event already. I think they are just jealous.
We should just do this on our own. If people from the dealerships come thats fine. It was great---- all the prizes and gifts Miniqueen supplied. She really made the event special.
BTW-- Has anyone seen any pics posted of the Prestige event????

Anyway I'm in for sure.
We must get the LI contingent involved. They were lots of fun.

mmmmmm! Fresh new MINIs at the run! We'll need maps this time so that all of those still in break-in period can motor appropriately.

i had a strange dream that at the ny auto show mini premiered three new colors and people had to vote on which colors... only the three colors were the same as the three M&M colors that people had to vote on a few years ago! ha!
pastel pink, light blue and light purple.. and they all had white tops and racing stripes.. hehe :smile:

 

The NY Auto Show is April 18th through the 27th. The friday 18th is the Preview Day.
