Who here is from Boston and the surrounding area of Massachusetts? Once I know how many of us there are, we can start working on some sort of meet...

 

I could come by maybe... I'm only about 90 minutes away... ok, 75 with the mini

Living in Gloucester with a Back Mini Cooper (at least until the "S" upgrade gets built one day). I know of two other Minis (one about 1 mile away, another near where I work).

It would be great to start some sort of group with meets. Currently I'm a moderator for the Boston Students Car Club. http://www.bostonstudentscarclub.com. Although, the name doesn't really mean anything since not everyone is a student, and most people aren't from Boston! Our members are between 18 and 28, and there's about 50 of us. If you'd like, check us out and join. I'm trying to spread some Mini excitement among the crowd, and some help would be appreciated!
We're trying to plan a meet now. I think we're gonna meet up in a parking lot or a park, then drive somewhere for paintball. Most of us have never done it before, and driving and shooting are two things we all seem to like! Hey, if we lived in Roxbury we could combine the two and do both at once

 

I don't have a mini, but I do work at the local dealership (Mini Peabody). I know one of the guys here (Keith) has a silver S, and even though I have a Subaru WRX, I would still love to get a meet going...

Another one of the salesmen here, Hrach, has 5 old Mini's so I am sure I could get him in on it too...

I'll keep checking this thread to see if you guys come up with a date/time...

 

This thread is getting kind of old... I'd love to have mini meet, maybe even in NH in the mountains, or dare I say it, in Maine, but there don't seem to be too many of us!

 

I'd love to take part, but my MINI still has a ways to go before she gets here, count me in nonetheless, I'm down here in lovely CT

Glad to see a few of us out there ordering the Indi, and also plenty of S's, from the pictures from the CO meet and greet, I didn't see any!

 

I am in the Hartford area, but willing to motor a few hours within New England/NY/NJ. Count me in for a Boston meet.

 

 

Tollag, There may not be many of us, but we have to start somewhere, right? Maine's not too far, it's beautiful this time of year. I was just up there over the 4th of July weekend. We just need to watch out for the "Air Speed Traps" in Gray, ME, if we go up that far. I ended up with , (dare I admit...) TWO speeding tickets in one weekend! The cops were impressed by my Cooper S, but not impressed enough to let me off the hook...
