Well I would have been interested in a drive back on June 7th. That's the day I took delivery of my car from Lori and Chris. Great dealership you have there in Elmsford.

 

The NYC MINI Metro Group (NYCMMG)and I are trying to schedule something next month at my dealership for our first meeting. We'll keep you posted.

are any westchester mini people interested in a motoring run? we could go up the taconic state parkway and finish somewhere upstate. I know there are a bunch of us cause Ive seen em on the highway.

well we should set a date and get this organized then. It would be great if we could get about ten minis to take the ride up the taconic. That would be quite a sight.

 

Having just returned That Area North of the City (isn't there a clever real estate sales rep acronym for this yet?) I would warn people off the northern (southbound) stretch of the Taconic, which I would call the Duchess County Diuretic. Some combination of the short wheelbase, tight ride and bad condition of the road surface made the first 30 miles (just south of 90) for a real pounding of the kidneys at 70-75mph. I would recommend heading for the Berkshires and Western MA and VT if you are from the city. Traffic was ideal, and roads are great fun.
