...in New Milford that gave the rally it's name? Did they give them the FCC treatment (Howard Stern into Ryan Seacrest)? I still think back fondly on those downhill twisties that left our brakes smoking.
I didn't manage to make it to RDRII, ordered new brake pads/fluid and am ordering new sticky icky tires for the summer but none of them are here yet. It made me think: Are there any plans in the works for a CT rally any time soon?

Ahhhh yes, the route is still clear and in conditions much like you remember it. A few curves have simply been repaved! I drive portions of it regularly. Were you there for the Litchfield Run a month later? Cooperspeed/Ace/Chris and I have agreed that a combined route would be fun. So a start at Marcus Dairy - and an end in Litchfield, CT. The fun part is the the inbetween - and we'll be on that.

In the meantime - don't I recall speak of Eastern CT run from some time ago?

I could show a small group around the Reservoirs and Rivers east of Litchfield .

Who wants to play?

Hey, sorry, haven't checked in with NAM in a while.
That 12 MDC was a great route, it was also what inspired me to get new brakes and fluid after that wicked downhill portion inspired some legendary brake fade. I was actually up at Tuxedo Junction this weekend looking wistfully off into those hills. So now the curves just have a fresh coat of asphalt? I am there.
I'd like to put together a rally in eastern Fairfield Co., the thing is I know a few great drives, but they are not remotely near one another. It's the linking them together that is causing the problem.

I haven't been in this forum in SO long. I am sure we can get enough people with proper planning, although I like to keep to small group who like to DRIVE...
