Hey D,
I will try to be there if UUC gets it's act together and has the big brake kit available by then.
Cheers,

It's just as well that it's sold out. I'm going to be a basket case the week before MINIs On Top.
I have mailed in registrations for the following dates and venues. If anyone is going to these please let me know so we can get together.
1. Monday June 21 at NHIS. This is the Monday after MINIs On Top.
2. Monday Sept. 27 at NHIS.
3. Friday Nov. 5 at Lime Rock. (This is the only other Lime Rock date so it might be wise to sign up ASAP)

I was at Watkins Glen with SCDA this past Monday. Very fast track!! Drove in the run group with Trevor, aka dkstone. In addition to us, there were two other MINI's.
I also signed up for November 5 at Lime Rock. Check http://www.scda1.com.

Definitely MINI's and Mini's only at Pocono's North Course with PDA! You can get more info if needed from Debbie Franks at Princeton MINI, 609-452-9400.
There is another day, Pocono South, where you will see a good showing of MINI's. July 16th with NASA-NE. Nice bonus, it's only $130!! Eric at Helix can help you if you need more info, 215-739-8800.

This is the most accurate track map that I've found for Pocono:

I just spoke with Joe, the owner of PDA. As I had suspected, this will be a similar day to what we had at Lime Rock, ALMOST MINI's only.
Basically, if there are enough MINI's to fill a run group (20-25), it will be MINI's only out on the track during that run group. Though it's a bit of a quandry, as not all will be at the same skill level, though I suspect that most will not have had much track experience.
There are, however, some serious drivers among the Classic Mini owners, so who knows how the turnout will be. If it's anything like OcktCOOPERFest, there should be a decent turnout of both MINI's and Mini's!
The other benefit of doing this particular day with PDA is that (according to Debbie Franks) the membership requirement will be waived, as will the extra fee for not being a member.
